THE PARIS AIR SHOW 2023 EDITION IS DEDICATED TO INDUSTRIAL SOVEREIGNTY & DECARBONATION The 2023 edition is placed under the sign of the recovery in demand, after the shutdown, which had brought air transport to its knees and caused an almost existential crisis in aeronautical construction, during the COVID pandemic. The show also echoes the immense challenges - decarbonization of aircraft, increased production rates, recruitment, etc. - which the sector will have to face in the years to come. The show also has the war in Ukraine and the renewed geopolitical tensions as a backdrop, particularly in the China Sea and around the future of Taiwan. This is leading to a spectacular rise in military budgets in Europe after years of under-investment, but also in the rest of the world. Source: Le Figaro

Everyone is at the rendezvous. 85 of the world's top 100 aeronautical companies responded. Le Bourget is a business-oriented show but also open to the general public during the weekend. THIS YEAR AT START-ME -UP CORNER DEDICATED TO 300 START UP VENUES
Paris Air Show is presenting another side of the aeronautics fair, in Le Bourget, and the passionate will be glad to participate in few side events, such as on June 21 over fun moments with escape games and e-sport tournaments. Recruitment is also a red thread of the show, with the Careers Plane, organized with industrial partners and their employees. And with the "Aero is recruiting" campaign, rolled out on all stands with mobilized HR teams. The sector aims to recruit 25,000 people this year. The third theme is essential: it is that of decarbonization, around three events. First with the "Start-Me-Up" space, dedicated to 300 start-ups from all over the world. This is unheard of. Next, the first major exhibition of electric and hybrid flying taxis ever. Last but not least, the Paris Air Lab, where all the players in decarbonization present the state of their research.
